She is woven from brighter newer looking but still reclaimed rope of yellow, orange, green and blue. Ms. Sea Lettuce has no handle. Small sized, easy to clean, sturdy and functional. perch her somewhere near and let her hold your treasures. She is 8" x 6" size
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
