Viola Water Clover Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. She is woven entirely from an ocean watery soft green color, spines and all. Viola has a nice sturdy handle.  She is large in size, nicely shaped, very practical and functional. Her handle folds down out of the way if need be. She will fit in anywhere, offering her usefullness, toys, household items, indoor or outdoor plants ...
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen.The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
