Sage Tiger Lily Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. Sage is an two-toned meadow sweetie with her well worn, softly textured sage green-ish (this rope was once blue!) set off by bright poppy colored orange rope. Same colored colored spines make for a cohesive look.  Mr. Tiger Lily has two little sturdy side handles. Large sized, easy to clean, sturdy and functional. He'd look great anywhere, filled with all manner of anythings ... toys, a plant, luandry or bathroom items... 
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
