Honey Cattail Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. Honey is a cutie. She is little, and heartwarmingly adorable. Soft light grey rope with blue markings with spines of light green.   Ms. Cattail is handle-less. This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
