Ofira Mermaid's Wine Glass Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. Ofira is a two toned ocean jewel. She has a  softly textured light grey rope and a pretty ocean green with subtle pink flecks ropes. Her spines are multi colored petals of aqua, peach, yellow & grey/blue. Ofira Mermaid's Wine Glass does not have a handle. Larger sized, but deep, sturdy and functional. She'd look great on your hearth filled with kindling, in your playroom filled with toys or all manner of anything!. 
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
