Aquamarine Bubble Algae Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. Aquamarine is like a calming deep breath. She has a two toned look. Part pretty ocean green with subtle pink flecks and part a very rare to us blue rope with pink flecks. All woven amid spines soft foamy white. The rope shows off it's history in the water quite beautifully. Aquamarine Bubble Algae does not have a handle. Medium/Small in size, sturdy and deep enough to be functional. She'd look great anywhere in your home or even out side holding a plant. 
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
