Ambroise Flowering Rush Sea Basket is handwoven from reclaimed crab pot rope. Ambroise is woven out of  newer orange and yellow ropes. The rope is still reclaimed from our local fishermen. These are rope ends that may not have actully made it into the water. His spines are bighter aqua and soft green. Ambroise Flowering Rush does not have a handle.  He is medium in size, sturdy and functional. Trust him to hold your treasures.
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen.The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
